The Infortrend  rackmount RAID subsystems allow up to 12 or 16 HotSwap SATA or SAS HDDs to be connected using external Ultra320 SCSI , Fibre Channel or ISCSI Ethernet connectors. This modular design makes it easy and affordable to extend your storage solution.

Storage appliances

The Melrow QFA series Storage appliance servers are easy-to-use, affordable SAN storage systems with interactive tools to dynamically manage your company's data. With Intel® Xeon™ processors, support for up to 24 SATA/SAS hard drives and iSCSI, Infiniband or Fibre Channel connectivity, the storage servers are robust, flexible, and scalable storage systems.

Fiber-to-SATA RAID Subsystems

The Fibre-to-SATA RAID subsystem provides 4Gbps Fibre Channel interface for high-speed data transfer. It is fully compatible with cost-effective SATA II hard drives to offer tremendous storage capacity. The storage capacity can be further expanded by connecting the SAS 4x wide port to expansion enclosures which can house enterprise-class SAS drives or SATA hard drives.The subsystem is equipped with redundant and hot-swappable components to ensure continuous and reliable operation.

SCSI-to-SATA RAID Subsystems

These SCSI-to-SATA subsystems provides unprecedented performance through full utilization of its 320 - 640MB/s host bandwidth with the computing power managing a massive capacity 4 to 24 SATA disk drives. These subsystems handles up to 24TB of raw capacity with ease, Boasting up to 2GB internal bandwidth, the dedicated ASIC architecture makes the subsystem ideal for a wide range of applications such as data archiving, backup and restore, near-line DAS, and any environment wher cost-effective, mass storage is required.

SAS-to-SATA RAID Subsystems

SAS-to-SATA series features extraordinary capacity-footprint and cost-per-GB ratios with no compromise on data protection, Coming in a cableless, backplane-based enclosure, the subsystem is driven by redundant, hot-swappable component pairs whose operation statuses are constantly available via comprehensive interfaces such as LCD screen, firmware utility, telnet console, browser-based or Java-based RAIDWatch software. Behind the robust hardware lies a firmware core that sums a decade of storage development.

ISCSI-to-SATA RAID subsystems

Fibre-to-SAS/SATA RAID Subsystem provides 4Gbps Fibre Channel interface for high-speed data transfer. It is fully compatible with cost-effective SATA II hard drives to offer tremendous storage capacity. Enterprise-class SAS drives are also supported for high performance and availability. The storage capacity can be further expanded by connecting the SAS 4x wide port to expansion enclosures.

The subsystem is equipped with redundant and hot-swappable components to ensure continuous and reliable operation. Advanced monitoring mechanisms are interfaced through firmware utility, RAIDWatch management software, and status LEDs etc. to ensure data security and subsystem protection.

SAS-to-SAS/SATA RAID Subsystems

The RAID subsystem provides multi-lane Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) host interface that overcomes the limitations of rallel SCSI to achieve enhanced performance, high availability and reliability. With the SAS wide links, the subsystem can be flexibly expanded with enterpriseclass SAS devices or costeffective SATA drives.
